"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 28-30I found this lovely little note while cleaning my room the other day. It always amazes me that God can even use something from years ago to remind me of his promises. Too much of my life has been wasted trying to pursue my own agenda. It always left me burnt out and generally unfulfilled. In retrospect, it was all so silly. Right before me the entire time was this offer of an easy and light yoke. Letting go of what you think you really want isn't easy, but it is invariably worth it to take hold of what you were meant for.
